June 2 & 3
Our distance location of The Master’s Seminary is excited to welcome Dr. Bryan Murphy to our church during the first week of June! Dr. Murphy is the Pastor/Teacher of Roosevelt Community Church in Lancaster, CA and serves as an Associate Professor in both Old and New Testament at The Masters Seminary. There are three events you are invited to attend.
Equipping Hour ∙ Sunday, June 2, 8:30 am
Dr. Murphy will be teaching our equipping hour on “What is Heaven like?” from Revelation 21:1–8. All of our classes, Junior high and up, will be combined in the Worship Center for this event. We hope you’ll join us to learn more about the hope that we have as believers!
QUESTION & ANSWER ∙ MONDAY, June 3, 6:30–8:30 Pm
On Monday evening Dr. Murphy will be teaching from 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 on the rapture, followed by a Q&A on the end times and last things alongside some of our Grace Church of the Valley pastors. We will be in the Generations Building, Chapel with coffee and dessert provided. If you have any questions about Daniel, Revelation, eschatology, end times, or future events, please submit them on an information card and place it into an offering bag as they go by this morning.
Seminary class ∙ Monday, June 3, 8:00 am–12:00 pm
Finally, Dr. Murphy will be teaching a seminar on the book of Revelation to our seminary students on Monday, June 3 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Anyone is invited to attend this seminary class. If you would like to join us, please RSVP to jessica@graceofthevalley.org by Thursday, May 30.
