Speaker: Michael Boys
Topic: Genesis 3

Michael Boys is the Teaching and Lead Pastor of Christ Community Church in Houston, TX (c3houston.org). Michael's love for the local church in general, and preaching in particular, are rooted in his upbringing and over 35 years in local church service. His additional ministry experiences include teaching adjunct at The Master's College, extensive prison ministry in California, and pastor and church-planter training in St. Petersburg, Russia. Michael shares the ministry with his wife, Christy Lynn. They are most grateful for two gifted sons, two amazing daughters-in-law, and seven practically-perfect grandchildren. Michael is a graduate of Baptist Bible College (BA), The Master's Seminary (MDiv), and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (DMin). He has pastored churches in Michigan, California, and Texas.

Speaker: Philip DeCourcy
Topic: Christ in the Psalms

Philip is the senior pastor of Kindred Community Church in Anaheim Hills, California, and speaker on the daily radio program, Know The Truth. After receiving pastoral training, Philip spent six years shepherding the congregation of Carr Baptist Church in Lisburn, a suburb of Belfast. Then, in 1994, Philip relocated his family to the United States. In 2007 Philip began his current ministry as senior pastor at Kindred Community Church.  He and his wife, June have three grown daughters and one son-in law.

Speaker: Rick Holland
Topic: Job 9

Rick was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee and became a Christian in high school. He spent 25 years at GCC in Sun Valley, CA. While at Grace he pastored the college and singles ministry, and served as the Executive Pastor under Dr. John MacArthur. He serves on the faculty of The Expositor’s Seminary. He has earned degrees from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (BS), TMS (MDiv), The SBTS (DMin), and MBTS (PhD candidate). Rick has served as Senior Pastor of Mission Road Bible Church since August of 2011. He and his wife, Kim, have three sons: Luke, John, and Mark.

Speaker: Paul Twiss
Topic: Daniel 7:13, 14

Paul is the shepherd of the CSUN Grace on Campus Bible study, and has the privilege of assisting Pastor John in his administrative responsibilities. He is currently pursuing a ThM at The Master’s Seminary, specializing in Old Testament studies. Paul loves to preach and teach the Bible, and is grateful for the opportunities afforded to him at Grace to do this. Paul is blessed to be a husband to Laura, and a father of five young children.

Speaker: Eric Thoennes
Topic: Luke 24

Dr. Thoennes is Professor of Theology, and Chair of the Theology Department at Biola University/Talbot School of Theology and also a pastor at Grace Evangelical Free Church in La Mirada, California. Erik also taught at Wheaton College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Erik is married to Donna, who has been his faithful ministry partner since they were married in 1989. Erik and Donna have four children: Caroline, Paige, Samuel, and Isaac.
