To conclude our previous week’s word on the building, we are convinced that God has uniquely blessed us. Not only has He blessed us with financial resources, but also with people. The Lord builds His church, not us, and our task is to steward well the number of people God has brought and we think will bring. We want to effectively minister to a church body up to a size of 1,500 people, which means balancing wise decisions for our church as it stands now and looking into the future of what it could be numerically.
Ministry dreams and hopes excite our imaginations when we think about what could happen on our church property. We want to host a counseling center, pastor’s conferences (English and Spanish), mission’s conferences, and potentially host a training center for pastors in the Valley (English and Spanish). We don’t know what all will become reality, but we want God to do beyond what we could ask or think.
In practical stewardship terms, quality construction is more expensive on the front end, but it’s more cost effective in the long run. We are a unique and blessed church, because as a young local body we have been entrusted with much and given the opportunity to be a blessing to a multitude of souls. Let's take advantage of it, for the glory of God.
