Join us Sunday at 10:30 am for our livestream service by tuning in to graceofthevalley.org/live, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, or Vimeo.
Pause with a Pastor is a weekly time with pastors of Grace Church talking with one another and to you about life, church, and the world around us. You can join us on Tuesdays at 4:30 pm on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, or Vimeo. If you missed last week's chat, go to graceofthevalley.org/news.
Beginning Tuesday, April 21, we will be offering a discussion group open to all ladies of GCV. We will be working through The Gospel Primer by Milton Vincent. We will plan to meet on Zoom from 7:00-8:00 pm and look at five of the brief chapters each week. If you have any questions, contact Kristin Harvey at firstname.lastname@example.org or (559) 639-9544.
Tune in on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm as Pastor David teaches a class on God’s wisdom and how to apply it to our own hearts as well as sharing it with the panicked and hurting world around us. For information on how to attend the class on Wednesday, go to graceofthevalley.org/helping-people.
Pastor Scott will be sharing a pastoral word in a weekly video update on Thursday evenings. You can find this on social media or at graceofthevalley.org/news.
Every Friday, Pastor David will be uploading a recorded video of a Seeds lesson to graceofthevalley.org/seeds. Parents, we’d love for this lesson to be a resource to you, whether you watch it on Sunday in addition to the Livestream service or at another time that works well for your family. On the webpage we have provided links to the activity sheets that go with each lesson for you to print and use at home.
It’s not too late to sign up to join us for Secret Church 2020 this Friday, April 24, 4:00–10:00 pm. The topic this year is God, Government, and the Gospel and is a live simulcast event where we will join with believers around the world to hear David Platt teach from God's Word and spend time in prayer for the persecuted church. Because Secret Church is structured for a simulcast audience and because right now our shared times of study and prayer with one another are rare, we encourage you to make the most of this opportunity and plan to study and pray with us! To register or for more information go to graceofthevalley.org/secretchurch.
There are two ways to give even while we are unable to gather. You can give online at graceofthevalley.org/giving or send gifts in the mail to: Grace Church of the Valley 1101 Marion Street, Kingsburg, CA 93631.
Need to Talk or Pray with Someone?
Randy and Cindy Rusconi, part of our prayer team, are available to you this week if you need to talk or pray with someone. Randy’s number is (559) 970-8183 and Cindy’s is (559) 970-0254.
Ministry during COVID-19
In the midst of the coronavirus we are continuing to monitor the situation and we have postponed all in-person ministry events through the end of April. Please continue to visit our website, graceofthevalley.org, and our News page, graceofthevalley.org/news, for the most updated information on ministries and resources.
If you or a member you know has a practical need or prayer request, please be sure to communicate with email@example.com so our elders and deacons can care for you.
The church office is currently closed. If you need to get in touch with someone in our office, you can call (559) 897-8788 and we will call you back or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We encourage you to stay in contact with church members and we want to assist you in doing so by providing help and instructions to Grace Connect, our church database. Through Grace Connect, you can find contact information for church members, look at the church calendar, and access online giving. For more instructions and information, go to graceofthevalley.org/graceconnect or email email@example.com if you need your password reset, if you need your account activated, or if you have any questions!
