Psalm 78
Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth! I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.

At its heart, children’s ministry exists to proclaim the character of God and the good news about Jesus. Our children are not born with an understanding of who God is, nor with a saving belief in the person and work of Jesus. As a church family, we are happy to come alongside individual families who are working all week to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

In our nurseries, we provide loving and safe care for our youngest kids, along with songs and brief Bible stories. In our Sunday school hour, we teach kids up to the age of 12 about God and the Gospel using a curriculum called Generations of Grace (generationsofgrace.org). And during the worship service, our Seeds program provides a children’s church where our 4–10 year olds learn from the Bible as well as how to listen to expository preaching.

We’re dependent on our many children’s ministry workers for safe and effective ministry to our kids, and we’d love for you to join us! We have four nurseries, from non-crawlers to crawlers as well as a two year old and three year old nursery. Our three Sunday school classes are 2s and 3s, 4–6s, and 7–12s, and during the worship service we have a 4–6 year old class and a 7–10 year old class. Whether you hold and rock an infant, play with a 3 year old, help a 5 year old color, or lead a lesson review for a 9 year old, you’re needed and wanted in children’s ministry! Please contact the church office to volunteer.
