This Month at Grace

5: Spanish Sunday Service Begins

Pray for the Spanish Ministry as Tom begins teaching through Colossians during the ABF hour. This is an important study of the Sufficiency of Christ. It will be completed in early September, just in time for the inaugural Spanish Service on September 15.

11: T2 women - cancelled for this month

12: Mother’s Day
It’s not too early to think about how you can serve, surprise, and bless the mom God has given to you.
13: Internship Orientation - This summer we’ll be welcoming two young men (Jonny Ardavanis and Taylor Dempsey) into our church as they participate in our summer internship program called “Doulos” (the Greek word for slave). The 13th will be the day we orient them to the work we have in store for them. We’ll be introducing them “formally” to the church family on the 19th.

13: Elders’ Mtg
Our elders meet every month, usually on the second and fourth Mondays. Will you join us in praying for these key shepherding, decision-making, planning meetings?

19: Burger Bash -We’ll be rolling out our plans for the summer to teens and their parents. We’ll cover our calendar for the summer, direction and philosophy, details for Hume Camp. Etc. We’ll also enjoy hamburgers together and some sweet fellowship! 5:30 pm, Mike and Lori Jackson’s.

19: Explorers - last meeting
Explorers is coming to its final night! It’s been a great few weeks as we’ve been having fun and then giving serious attention to the life of the King. We began with His arrival in Bethlehem, and we’ll finish with an empty tomb and an ascension that teaches us that the King will return.

21-26: Hurley visit

These precious days will give us opportunities to enjoy and be challenged by our missionaries to Uganda. Shannon and Danielle are infectious in their joy and love for the Great Commission, so take every chance you can to deepen your relationship with them, be challenged by them, and be a blessing to them.

22: GG Leaders Meeting
Every month Jeremy leads a meeting to discuss small group leadership. Although all grace group leaders are expected to attend, the meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about small group leadership or how our Grace Groups work.

25: T2 - potential meeting with Danielle Hurley

27: Memorial Day

27: Pastor Scott begins New Zealand Trip
Scott is returning to preach at a conference he has loved and preached at before, providing a launching point for some of the only solid, expositional ministry in the country of New Zealand. Let’s pray for a fruitful and blessed trip.
