It is our joy to have Dom Avila teaching from God's Word. Dom came to Grace Church of the Valley as a Pastoral Resident seeking to dive into equipping ministry and men's ministry for twelve to fifteen months. As time has progressed, God has used Dom and his family to help transform and bolster ministries at GCV, including Men's Equippers and Equipping Classes as well as building a weekly teaching ministry from GCV at Teen Challenge in Reedley, CA. The elders of Grace recently decided to remove the temporary title of Pastoral Resident and are excited to call Dom the GCV Director of Equipping and Discipleship as he continues in elder training and his current ministries. Dom is married to Jess and they have three children, Makyla, Titus, and Judah.
