On Wednesday, August 15th, the Kingsburg Recorder presented a front page article on the beginning of our church. The article presented the history of our start as a Bible study and included details about our first offical Sunday on September 9th. It even included a photo of the two aged elders doing their best to look wise and welcoming. It centered, however, on Grace Church's distinctive approach to preaching.

Expository preaching was explained and contrasted with other more common approaches to preaching. More than a style of preaching consecutive passages, expository preaching is a philosophy insisting that biblical preaching is the clear explanation of a text's meaning. Preachers are merely messengers, sent not to fabricate their own message but to faithfully rely the message of the King.
